Hurling & Football Club — Est. 1886
Dear fellow Members, Players, Parents, and Supporters,
What a day Saturday the 20th of June was for Ballincollig GAA Club!
Pride of place must go to our outstanding Féile team, who were crowned All-Ireland Premier 1 Hurling Champions last Saturday. In a thrilling and hard-fought final, they overcame Michael Cusacks of Galway on a scoreline of 0-14 to 2-06 after extra time, displaying incredible skill, determination, character and resilience throughout.
A huge congratulations to Manager Denis Twomey, his management and coaching team, and to each one of these courageous and talented young players. We also acknowledge the unwavering support of their families, whose commitment has been such an important part of this journey. This is a truly historic achievement for our club.
The scenes at the final whistle were unforgettable and a genuine privilege to witness — moments like these define us as a club and community. Sincere thanks to all who made the effort to come to the club to welcome home the players and management with the All-Ireland cup. It was a fitting homecoming for a remarkable team. This was truly a day that reflected the spirit, strength and togetherness of Ballincollig GAA.
We also extend our warmest congratulations to our club players Joe Miskella (Captain), Éanna Lynch, Evan Stack, along with coach John Noonan, on Cork's excellent victory over Derry, securing their place in the All-Ireland Minor Football Final. A tremendous achievement and a proud occasion for everyone connected with our club.
We would also like to wish the very best of luck to our club player Luke Fahy, along with Dr Aidan Kelleher (Senior Football Manager), Paddy O'Shea (Senior Football Coach), Brian O'Connell (Club Physio), and Mícheál Ó Cróinín (Club member), ahead of Cork Senior Footballers' game against Mayo in the All-Ireland Senior Football Quarter-Final this weekend.

Well done to everyone in Ballincollig GAA Golf Society who enjoyed a great outing at Lee Valley GC last weekend. Congratulations to Cian McCarthy — overall winner of the outing — and to Donie Fitton on winning "The John Lee Cup".
Following on from the GAA Club Golf Classic held in May at Macroom GC, the Golf Society also made generous presentations to G4MO, the Féile Hurling Management Team, Ballincollig GAA Club, and the Lee Family (charity fundraiser). A great night afterwards in the club bar — thanks again to everyone in the Ballincollig GAA Golf Society who as always contribute hugely to our club! 🟢⚪️
